Vision

The vision of the Faculty of Engineering is to develop students’ engineering skills and to train successful students in all areas of the modern engineering world and the fundamentals of engineering. Our faculty also aims to undertake many research projects by implementing a dynamic, modern, and innovative education system and with a well-trained and experienced teaching and research staff.

Mission

Our mission is to contribute to various engineering fields in relevant areas of expertise for both public and private institutions. This task will contribute to the emergence of many new opportunities in our region and will set new goals in our pursuit of scientific developments worldwide. The establishment of new engineering fields in the near future will also contribute to the national economy and benefit the province of Afyonkarahisar.

Objectives

  1. To complete the accreditation process for 2 programs in our Faculty by 2025 (H.1.1)
  2. To increase the number of students applying to the International Exchange Program and the number of programs with which agreements are made by the end of 2025 compared to the previous year (H.1.3)
  3. To organize 1 International Scientific Event by the end of 2025 (H.1.3)
  4. To organize 2 social events for students in 2025
  5. To ensure that the total budget of externally funded projects in our Faculty is higher than the total budget of projects carried out with the financial resources of our University by 2025 (H.2.1)
  6. To increase the number of University-Industry-Public sector activities carried out in our Faculty by 2025 compared to the previous year (H.3.1)
  7. To achieve 1 international publication per faculty member (WOS) by 2025 (H.2.1)
  8. To organize 1 Scientific Event for students by the end of 2025 (H.3.4)
  9. Initiation of a Minor Program in at least one of our departments by the end of 2025 (H.1.4)
