The Mevlana Exchange Program is a program aimed at facilitating student and faculty exchange between higher education institutions in Turkey and those abroad. With the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 23, 2011, and numbered 28034, the way was opened for student and faculty exchange between higher education institutions in Turkey and abroad.
Students wishing to participate in the exchange program can study for a maximum of one semester; faculty members can benefit from the program for a minimum of one week and a maximum of three weeks to teach at higher education institutions around the world. Similarly, students and faculty from all regions of the world can come to higher education institutions in Türkiye within the scope of the program to participate in educational activities.
Unlike other exchange programs, mobility within the exchange program encompasses higher education institutions worldwide without any geographical restrictions. (Countries included in the Erasmus program are excluded.)
