An informational meeting to share developments related to the project titled “Detection of Living Organisms Outside the Field of View Using Laser and Sound Signals with Artificial Intelligence,” supported under TÜBİTAK-1001, was held on February 2, 2026, in Meeting Room 202 of our Faculty.
The meeting covered innovative approaches developed for earthquake search and rescue activities, the stages completed in the project to date, and the technical work carried out. The event detailed the analyses conducted on the detection of living beings using laser and sound signals. Information was also provided on the current infrastructure and ongoing work of the “Beyond Sight Research and Analysis” laboratory, which supports the project processes.
Following the presentations, participants’ questions were answered, and ideas were exchanged about the project’s technological outputs and the laboratory’s application possibilities.
